CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
When it comes to classroom management, teachers want to create a positive and effective school environment for their students. Students need to feel comfortable and safe in order to learn most effectively. With this knowledge, educators need to manage their classrooms in such a way that they create this environment. Classroom management has two distinct purposes: It not only seeks to establish and sustain an orderly environment for meaningful, academic learning, but it also aims to enhance student social and moral growth. For teachers they must always maintain a positive relationship between them and their students. Teachers have to be apporachable and understanding to students and their needs individually.
Physical classroom environment

A classroom must have a positive climate and children must feel a sense of security. Classroom Environment is a very significant part of organizing a productive working environment for students. Research on the environment of a classroom has shown that the physical arrangement can affect the behavior of both students and teachers (Cangelosi, 1993, 1988). and that a well-structured classroom tends to improve student’s academic and behavioral outcomes (Cangelosi, 1993, 1988). Classroom structure is the centerpiece of classroom management. Preparing the structure of the classroom is a proactive step that prevents the majority of classroom disruption (Jackson Hardin, 2004). A way to prevent distractions is by choosing the best seating arrangement for your students, depending on the task and their needs while learning. (Cummings,2000).
Desk arrangement
In many classrooms, the largest space is devoted to the arrangement of an individual student’s desk (Shalaway,2005). When arranging desks, you want to make sure that you can make eye contact with every student (Shalaway,2005), this is very important for you and the students, because you want to make sure they are focused and able to see what you are writing on the board or holding up for display. Also, you want to make sure that the students are seated so their attention is directed towards the teacher in order to ensure that the students are paying attention. In addition, you should also create a logical traffic pattern. This allows students to move about easily when transitioning in class without causing distractions to other classmates. Also, when students walk into a room and see desks in certain arrangements it already gives them a mindset of the class format.

Displays
Displays create a rich environment that is welcoming and engaging and often encourage individual expression. First and foremost, ensure that all students are represented equally; students find comfort in knowing they are improving as they share strengths and weaknesses with peers' displays. It also increases ownership and community by encouraging student involvement. You want to make sure that your displays have a purpose. Make sure each display serves a unique purpose relating to the learning topic. (Anderson, 2010). A great way to effectively keep displays organized and fully represented throughout a classroom is the use of a bulletin board. Bulletin boards are used for multiple purpose such as displaying students work, serving as an activity board for students, posting rules and announcements, as well as decorations for the classroom.

Procedures and Rules
Establishing clear classroom rules and procedures will set the tone for the class. Classroom rules and procedures allow teachers to provide students with general guidelines for the types of behaviors that are permitted and those that are not
(Cangelosi, 1993, 1988). The purpose of having rules and procedures within the classroom is to ensure students know the expectations of how to act towards one another, maintain a safe environment, participate in learning, and keep focus in
the classroom.

Procedures
Procedures are methods/processes for accomplishing things in the classroom and therefore, should communicate expectations of behavior (Cangelosi, 1993, 1988). Unlike rules, procedures apply only to particular activities and doesn’t define a general standard of conduct (Cangelosi, 1993, 1988). Procedures applies to general classroom behaviors, beginning and end of the day, transitions and interruptions such as entering or leaving the room, and bathroom breaks. It is very important that procedures are applied during group work and when teachers lead the classroom. To avoid behavior issues with students it good do the following:
1. Explain: State, model, and demonstrate the procedure.
2.) Rehearse: practice the procedure under your supervision to make sure students know and understand.
3.) Reinforce: Reteach, rehearse, practice, and reinforce the classroom procedure until it becomes a student habit or routine.
This can effectively help students understand the given procedures of the classroom.
Rules
Rules of a classroom are designed to communicate the desired behaviors to students and identify and avoid behaviors for existing problems. These rules help to maintain a safe environment, and prevent any kinds of disturbance in activities that
are done in the classroom. If rules are broken children will receive a first, second or call home warning. There are numerous of ways teacher can help manage the classes behavior. Some may use traffic light behavior
charts and other behavior charts. Behavior charts help the teacher monitor their child's behavior in the classroom.

Classroom Strategies
As a teacher, you want to be able to provide different strategies to help manage your classroom. A classroom should have a welcoming and comfortable environment. You want children to get to know each other and you as the year progresses. This creates a personal connection between students and teachers. An efficient strategy teachers can use in their kindergarten classroom are Learning Centers. Learning Centers can be a perfect place to promote the areas of growth such as emotional, social, and physical development in young children. During this time teachers have the opportunity to 1) observe the child, 2) ask certain questions, 3) participate in the activity, and 4) help children makes discoveries and connections. This is a helpful way that the teacher and children can be involved with one another and the child can be cognitively active.
Benefits
Here are some ways Learning Centers can be beneficial for your kindergarten students:
1.) Learning centers allow children to be self-motivated by concentrating on
things that cater to their interests.
2) Allow children to be self-disciplined by exploring in their own way and intentionally directing their own learning.
3) Allow children to understand the social world, by developing communication skills, and building relationships.

Technology
Technology within the classroom has a greatly positive effect on the students performance. Technology in a kindergarten classroom is designed to encourage young children, allowing for creativity and connection to the curriculum. Technology in the classroom can be very beneficial and help enhance student learning by:
-Engaging learners
-Keep students focused for longer periods of time
-Making learning fun
-It enables students to learn at their own pace
-Is very Interactive
